Recommended Preventative Health Care Schedule - Adult Dog over 1 year of age
Semi-Annual Exam
a complete physical exam and risk assessment by the doctor prior administering vaccine. This is to insure that the pet is healthhy enough based on physical exam to receive the vaccination. There are times when the doctor determines that due to physical conditions such as fever, enlarge lymph nodes,etc... that giving the vaccine would be contraindicated. There may also be times based on risk assessment that the vaccine protocol may reduced or additional vaccine other than the core are needed due to risk factors. The semi-annual exam is very important gor our dog based on the accelerated rate which dogs age. An exam every 6 months is equivalent to a human seeing a doctor every 3.5 years. Early detection is the key to our pet's longevity.
